As a certified teacher, I am especially tuned into a teacher’s abilities to adapt to the different learning styles of students. I learned how to play bridge with Silvana Morici, and she is one of the best instructors I have ever had. She covers every learning style, is patient and understands the students’ questions before they’re even asked. A true expert in her field, she handily comes up with examples to specifically exhibit and explain the answer to the question or the rule or convention she is teaching. I’ve taken private lessons with Silvana where she played with me for the day and gave me very direct and specific feedback for every hand afterwards, and I continue to take classes with her now on online. Having all online hasn’t hampered her teaching at all. Silvana always makes time to answer questions even outside of class. I simply wouldn’t dream of taking classes with anyone else.

Their method of teaching is excellent and very comprehensive . It's almost like developmental milestones; things progressing in a logical manner. I started playing bridge regularly about 18 months ago. I initially took in person and now online lessons from both Rich and Silvana and my game has improved significantly (I hope!).
Both are able to break down a complex game and thought process into understandable pieces. They are able to teach a solid foundation of needed skills and then layer on lessons to enhance both playing and bidding. They are both dedicated, patient people who understand how hard it is to learn this game.
